Activities

Fall Family Fun Night

Held in November. The entire school and families are invited to participate. Several rounds of bingo are played for cash prizes. Large theme baskets will be raffled off at the end of the night.

Lunch With Santa

Held in December. Tickets go on sale in November. In addition to lunch (usually pizza or a hotdog), kids have the opportunity to visit with Santa and participate in some holiday themed activities.

Santa's Shop

Held in December. Entire student body has the opportunity to shop for mom/dad, siblings and grandparents. All items are quality merchandise purchased at sales throughout the year and offered at cost ($1-5) to the kids.
After the kids make their purchases, they have their presents wrapped to take home until Christmas.

Book Swap/Resolution to Read

This was a new event for the 2010 - 2011 school year. The Book Swap gives all families an opportunity to gather and swap books. This event is for both adults and children. The Resolution to Read program encourages all families participating to log in reading time through the winter months.

Family Game Night/Resolution to Read

New in 2011 -This event marked the conclusion of the Resolution to Read program. The top readers were recognized and we will celebrated the efforts of all our OLP families! What a great way to celebrate by gathering family and friends for a good old fashioned evening of games and fun.

    • Bowling Parties

    Break up the winter routine by meeting up with your OLP friends at our Bowling Parties. Two sessions will be held: the first for K - 4th grades, the second for 5th - 8th grades.

    Easter Candy Sale

    Held prior to Easter (usually February or March). This is the primary fundraiser for the FSA. We encourage every family to participate to the best of their ability. If you are not familiar with this brand of chocolate, it is high quality and very easy to sell.

    School Picnic

    Held after dismissal on the last day of school at Waldameer Park and Water World. Discount tickets are available for purchase the last week of school. The FSA provides a picnic lunch. Students and families are invited to attend.
