Supporting OLP

It is through the generosity of so many that OLP is able to offer the education and extracurricular activities to the students. Over the past 50+ years many people have given of their time, talents and treasure. We are appreciative of those who support OLP school in any way. If you would like to help, there are several ways you can do so

Fund for Excellence

In 2009 – 2010 the Office of Advancement kicked off the first ever annual fund for the school. Through the annual fund, over $10,000 was contributed. The goal of the Office of Advancement is to increase those funds each year to assist with improvements to the school. This fund is on-going and donations can be made throughout the year.

Founders Endowment

The OLP Endowment has been in existence for many years. Proceeds from this fund help provide tuition assistance for OLP School families. Recently, the Strategic Management Team decided to add another element to the Endowment. Over the years, there are so many people who have made OLP the great school that it is. Those people deserve to be recognized.

The Strategic Management Team made a decision to call the OLP Endowment "The Founders Endowment", thus giving credit to those who have built and continue to build the foundation of our school. Each year a founder will be named. Contributions can be made to the Endowment in memory or in honor of that particular year's honoree.

It is our honor to name Mrs. Joan Trojanowski "Mrs. T." as the first honoree of the OLP Founders Endowment for the year of 2012.

Mrs. T. was the preschool teacher at OLP for 19 years (1991 - 2010). Throughout those years, she had hundreds of children come through her classroom doors. For many children, she was the first teacher they ever had. not only did the children feel a special connection to her, but also their parents.

From the preschool in the "llittle house" up through the days she moved into the "big school"' she had a great impact on each child she taught. With a smile on her face and in her heart is how she will always be remembered. Mrs. T. passed away in the fall of 2011.

Tuition Angel Fund

We have been blessed over the years at OLP by people who value a Catholic education and want to help provide for those less fortunate. We have some “angels” who donate funding toward tuition for OLP students. The Tuition Angel Fund is an ongoing program where students in need are helped as situations arise. If you are interested in contributing to this fund, please contact Ron Erb., Business Manager.

Volunteering

Giving of time is just as important as contributing to funding for OLP. If you have a few hours, we would love to see you at OLP school or at any OLP event. Family members (parents, grandparents, etc.) give of their time during the school day in both the cafeteria and the library. These are great ways to give of your time to benefit children.

There is always a need for assistance during special events. If you are interested in helping out, simply contact the Office of Advancement.

In kind donations – there are always things needed for classrooms and the school in general. If you are interested in helping out, the teachers have put together a “wish list”. We could use the following:
