Our Lady of Peace School

Special Events

A variety of events are held throughout the year to bring the OLP family together and to welcome new members to the family. We enjoy bringing the members of the OLP community together to learn more about the school and to celebrate being with one another.

Parent Information Evening (PIE)

Parent Information Evening is sponsored by the School Advisory Council, Family and School Association (FSA), and the Athletic Association. This event is held in September
and offers parents information on the latest updates at OLP. Parents are encouraged to meet with their children’s teachers, and encouraged to stay for the parent social at the end of the evening.

Grandparent/Grandfriend Day

In September 2009, the first Grandparent/Grandfriend Day was held at Our Lady of Peace School. Now a much anticipated tradition, our distinguished guests spend the afternoon visiting classrooms, enjoying punch and cookies in the cafeteria, and attending a prayer service in the Church. It is a very special event enjoyed by all.
